Coerper vs. Lee in City of Alachua
ALACHUA — Alachua Mayor Gib Coerper will face Patricia Lee in the upcoming city of Alachua elections.
Only Coerper and Lee qualified to run for the one open seat — the seat currently held by Coerper — for the April 8 elections.
Coerper has been on the Commission for two terms, once from 1999 to 2002 and once from 2005 to the present, and Lee is a longtime Alachua resident and former employee of the city of Alachua.
