Great Site! We got something for ya:
You know from our last few months' posts who we recommend for President. And recently, we deciphered the Florida Amendments for you. For those of you outside Alachua County, we apologize but this post is dedicated to the Tribe's local jurisdiction. If you're not an Alachua voter, kindly read one of our other posts or click on a sponsor link. If you are an Alachua voter, read this post then do those other things I mentioned to the non-ACR's.

County Commissioners - All 3 Districts
It's time to ease the tax burden on Alachua County citizens. There rarely is a tax in Gainesville or Alachua that city or county commissioners don't like. This is the case for the three incumbent county commissioners up for re-election. Mike Byerly, Paula Delaney, and Rodney Long haven't met a tax they didn't like. They all voted to raise the gas tax by 5 cents/gallon when prices were already soaring. All would have voted for higher impact fees on new developments; Byerly voted against it because he believed the fees weren't HIGH enough. We are over taxed in Gainesville and Alachua and we need to let our elected officials know that we won't take it anymore! They need to live within their means as we do.
Vote for Kevin Riordan, Lloyd Bailey, and Ward Scott.
