Out of control candidate?
Do we want to elect a school board candidate who loses control and yells at his opponent in a school auditorium? I have heard from numerous people that Gunnar Paulson did exactly this towards Wayne Gabb during forum held at Lincoln Middle School. Do we want a candidate who continues to remove both of his opponents yard signs and puts his own in place of them? Gunnar Paulson’s campaign is doing exactly this. Do we want to elect a candidate who sends people to his opponents supporters to tell horrible lies about their family? Gunnar Paulson’s campaign is doing exactly this. Do we want a candidate who has someone make multiple false reports to DCF attempting to get his kids taken away? Paulson’s campaign is doing exactly this. Hello voters, lets stop the insanity and vote against this activity. Get out and vote for one of the 2 more responsible candidates.

1There is substantial circumstantial evidence and some hard evidence. ASO has not heard much of it. There is at the very least substantial enough to start an investigation.
2I have known Gunnar for over a decade now, as a colleague, friend, and neighbor. He is a man of great character and integrity, as well as passionate and visionary. He truly is a man who has the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding that is needed to help lead this district and to communicate effectively with the legislators in Tallahassee for the common good of our children in Alachua County. He is a man of honor and great principle.
3Gunnar Paulson would not be as popular as he is if he had the character to engage in the acts you describe. Please attach video from the Lincoln Middle School Forum, photos of Gunnar Paulson’s campaign substituting his signs for others, DCF reports showing who the caller was, and/or testimonies of people who have had Paulson campaigners visit and tell them bad things about his opponents’ families. This is the age of a 24/7 news cycle and instant access. If you have it, bring it.

Gunnar has (on more than ONE OCCASION) lashed out at my dad and called him a thief. I understand that the forums get quite heated but there is no reason to loose your cool, please if you have so much credentials – stay professional. In other news, removing yard signs of your opponents is quite sad. Very low class. That’s not how you win a race. Sure, he is endorsed by the teachers union, he’s also the PRESIDENT. (hmmm). My dad is endorsed by the STUDENTS AND PARENTS.
If you take notice, most of Gunnar’s financial support comes from OUT OF TOWN and other teacher unions. (visit = http://www.thebuyersguide.org/report.php?race=2 ) All of his signs are on main raods, or in front of businesses. The majority of my dad’s signs are in neighborhoods.
I would hope Alachua County votes for the candidate who wants to make a difference. NOT a paycheck.
5The accusations made here by Mr. Wood are malicious and unprofessional. While Gunnar Paulson has long had my vote, Mr. Wood’s post only helps to assure me that I’ve picked the best candidate in this race. Without any hard evidence of such accusations, Mr. Wood, you are only hurting yourself.
6Why are you trying to create a stir when you are not willing to share facts to back up your claims? Is it because there are no facts? Is it because you are not really a good candidate and your only hope of being elected is mud-slinging? I urge YOU to stop this insanity!

8I urge anyone who wants to know what happened at Lincoln Middle School to ask someone who was there. I was not there, however 5 other local candidate told me about it. If I may say so, one of these candidates was our esteemed county commissioner — Lee Pinkoson. Call him and get it firsthand from a well respected leader of our community.
As for yard sign removal and replacement, I know that I did not remove my own signs and replace them with my opponent. It would be logical to think that this would have been done by someone working on behalf of my opponent. As for multiple malicious reports to DCF, just check with them. It is public information. I would be glad to authorize them to release all findings of the reports and investigations to you.
I ask 1 question to any of you that have been negative in regards to my complaints….. Do you not feel a bit sympathetic to what my family has been through? I will be very honest with you when I say that at this point in time I cannot prove whether the perpetrators of these things are people who like Gunnar Paulson or whether it is people who simply do not like me. But I can say that this has gone WAY TOO FAR!!!!! Something many people do not know is that on two different occasions on a night that most of my campaign signs were stolen that someone drained the brake fluid out of our family limousine. This can be addressed as attempted murder. You may ask if I know who did this. No I do not. If I did they would be in jail.
What I ask of any of you is to look on my website and see the pictures of my kids. After you look at them I ask you this: Do you feel a little bit bad about what my family has been through? If you do not feel a bit bad for them, then you have a major problem in your own mind and heart. Maybe you should go to church and ask someone to pray for you.
We may have different political views, but my family has been tortured and I am being called a liar about it. In conclusion I ask that Gunnar Paulson contact me and meet with Sheriff Darnell with me to urge a thorough investigation into whoever may have done these things.
